To give you an example of what an 5-hours Wedding Day looks like, I’ve included an example timeline with moments I typically capture. 3:00 First Look

3:10 Individuals & Couples Portraits

3:30 Wedding Party

4:00 Family Formals

4:30 Guest Arrivals & Ceremony Space

5:00 Ceremony

5:30 Couples session

6:00 Reception Entrance / Dinner

6:40 Toasts

6:55 Cake Cutting

7:00 First Dance, Family Dances, Anniversary Dance

7:30 Open Dance Floor

8:00 Jon Departure

Consideration for Additional Time

Not everyone’s day will fit into these timelines. Consider additional time if your day has any of the following requirements:

  • Ceremony & Reception are at different locations (account for travel time)

  • Photos with Wedding Party and/or Family Formals are offsite

  • Larger Families

  • Want an extended couples session

  • Capture additional moments at the beginning and/or end of day

  • Longer Ceremony
